Silver courses jewellery making Adelaide

The smallest and most personalised classes with half the student numbers of our competitors. Personal attention by your tutor ensures that you get all the assistance when you require it (no waiting for the tutor to finish helping someone else), ensuring the best use of your time.

With 20 years experience in silver, gold and gemstone setting classes and I have tutored at TAFE and have held many workshops in NSW and South Australia. Based in Mile End, South Australia, we offer comprehensive lessons for both beginners and more experienced students.

In our classes you will learn design

saw piercing

shaping and doming

soldering

surface finishes

casting

cuttle carving

wax carving

stone setting

silver raising

repousse and chasing

The Introduction to Jewellery making course is a 4 week course ($400.00) and students complete bangles, rings and pendants, taking home silver jewellery which fits, is comfortable and is polished to a high shine.

The 10 week course ($900.00), Fundamentals of Silver Jewellery enables students to begin soldering projects, set stones and learn to size silver accurately, for making jewellery for different clients.

Both of these courses offer a delicious taste of jewellery making and design, using time honoured techniques which are developed and used by jewellers the world over. You may continue making jewellery in my studio for as long as you wish, developing your style, as many of my students have over the years.
